NatureRAY are fast making a name for themselves in the optics world, and in the February 2026 issue of Bird Watching our gear guru David Chandler was very impressed by their Scenic Pro ED 8x42 binoculars when he reviewed them, awarding them four stars out of five.

Weighing 730g, they offer up to 18.4mm of eye relief, a wide field of view, close focus of 1.5m, and a crisp, sharp view with good natural colour. They’re an excellent all-round binocular for anybody looking for their first ED optics, or a great second pair for general wildlife-watching (that close focus will help you when bug, butterfly and dragonfly hunting).
