The RSPB Croydon Local Group “Camouflage & Mimicry”. It is always a pleasure to welcome back speakers who have given the group an excellent show. Since retiring from lecturing in Zoology at Imperial College Tim Seller is now active on the RSPB circuit. His chosen topic of bird camouflage and mimicry promises to be particularly interesting. The RSPB Croydon Local Group “Rare and Extinct”. Glen Duggan will lecture on the plight of those bird species at risk of becoming extinct in the next 100 years. He will look at the current issues, including the threat from human activities, and also describe some of the species of birds that have become extinct since records began.
