Birdfair build up begins!

Birdfair, or to give it its full name the British Birdwatching Fair, starts on Friday 19 August. For three days birdwatchers from all over the country, and the world, will converge on Egleton Nature Reserve at Rutland Water. Over the weekend upwards of 20,000 people will enjoy all that the 300+ exhibitors have to offer.

Over the coming weeks we'll be keeping you up-to-date with all the news and rumours from the Birdfair camp. You also can find a full list of exhibitors on this site as well as any events that are planned for the weekend, a gear buying guide and some history on the Birdfair's origins.

Finally, don't forget to visit the Bird Watching stand in Marquee 2 where we'll have some surprises and exclusive competitions - and of course the obligatory bowl of sweets (send your sweet suggestions to birdwatching@bauermedia.co.uk)
